Anyone have any good examples of good dodge and burn on a knee to make it look less awkward.

I've never really looked at them until now.
They contain alot of shadows and highlights and draw attention to themselves however when i start dodging and burning that away the legs loses its shape.

I'm just looking for some good examples of a well shaped but not distracting knee.

Also how do you guys deal with knees in high contrast lighting?

Can you post an example of the problem? Not all knees look the same. Even a given individual's knees will look different when shot from front, side, quarter-view, standing, sitting, squatting, lying down, and flexed at any number of angles while illuminated by harsh light, diffuse light, etc.

You can't just fix "knees" in the abstract. You have to fix a particular problem with particular knees in a particular photo.
