On my game now [email protected] lesson learned Huh ? Do you know how to compose complete sentences and thoughts correctly ? Report it to the Mod and stop spamming the forum pages with the same thing. If you read the way you write , I understand how easy it was for you to fall for the BS.

Happy!! I think your in the wrong profession, why don't you become an English major. I wanted to let people out there know how pissed I was when I was scammed, not to have somebody who obviously has no life and has to correct my English. Don't read it don't like it keep it to yourself. Arrogant people make me sick. Go have a nice life!!

On my game now [email protected] lesson learned Not sure how you were scammed if you headed off things right away. Anyway, Allure doesn't send messages to random independent models, via this website, offering them spots in the magazine. No magazine does. That's how you can tell it's a going to be a scam. There is a button in your inbox called "Avoid Scams" and there's a website at newmodels.com with a whole section on scams. You might want to review them and then you will know not to even bother looking up these kind of people, because you'll recognize within 2-3 words of the email that it's an obvious scam.

Nothing good is ever OFFERED to anyone, unless they are already having a lot of success themselves....That's been my experience.

Thank you very much for that information. I still have to figure out this site, I will look for it now. I thought hey maybe this model was being nice telling me to contact the guy in charge, guess not.

I will definitely have to search for the scam page on here and where to notify the site. I love how helpful people are.

You just told one of the best photographers on this site that he's in the "wrong profession" after he pointed out, truthfully, just how incoherent your post was. That's arrogance.

Well I was simply trying to help people out, I think that new people to this site should know about scammers. Now I know there is a way to notify the site so I will do that.

How did you get scammed if no money changed hands?

The OP is relatively new. It is probably the first time she had a dose of Internet reality. I don't think she was intending to slam him because I am not sure she really understood the situation. To the OP, kudos for NOT getting scammed. The lesson is that if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Magazines don't generally hunt down models on the net. You are doing the right thing by checking out the scam link. I am sure you learned a bit. And thank you for your good intentions by posting this thread.

OK can the OP please relate the scam, I do not read one yet . Also as a model of small stature have you ever heard of a 5'4" model being hired for Magazine work. I think you ( the OP ) scammed herself.... My 2 cents and just for your information I am n English Major......
