Hello all. I am closing my photography business because my bride-to-be has asked me to remove all other women from my life.

Over the next few days, you will see all my images, websites, behind-the-scenes videos, etc. being removed. I have already started deleting Flickr images, can you believe there is no automated way to do this!

I have a huge pile of framed photo montages waiting to be taken to the dump.

Photographers, you will be interested in my equipment which I will be selling off over the next couple of weeks. I have Nikon DSLR, medium-format digital equipment, Speedotron lighting, and some Paul C Buff lights. There are too many accessories to mention.

I will also be required to close my portfolio accounts, change my email address, and phone number so that no models can intentionally or accidentally contact me in spite to my fiance's wishes.

I will dearly miss this business, but I must move forward. Thank you to everyone who has been involved with me over the past twenty years.

A K

Don't have any AB per se. Zeus Bi-Tube and Einstein. Thanks for the compliment, I always wondered if my portfolio was worth more than $2.

What a horrible thing to demand of an artist.

Are your balls included in the deal?

You certainly won't be needing them any more (if you ever had any to begin with)

I'll take a bi-tube zeus if I can heat up some peanut butter with it :-)

Have you asked your bride to be to pose for you instead?  That might make her accept you better today ;-)

I had a "bride to be" and she tried to tell me that I had to stop photography (at the time I was shooting wildlife/landscape). I told her that if she was seriously trying to make me quit then she knew where the door was. She thought I was joking but when I got a eviction notice for her she was so pissed off and stunned she was speachless (trust me, making her speachless was  once in a lifetime thing, lol). Long story short, I never will let anyone (woman/wife, girlfriend, ect) tell me what I can/can't do. Life is too short to make someone else happy with the time in MY life. It just ain't happening. Yes, I'm a selfish bastard and I'll never change, lol.

April Fools. Thanks for playing along. I hope the dispassionate email requests for equipment lists stop soon!

I was away all day and when I got back there was a narrow window of opportunity to go for a quick ski before the arctic blast froze everything solid.  while I was walking back to the car (i miscalculated how long it would take to freeze, ooops!) I was lamenting the fact that I had missed all of April Fools shenanegans being in the car or visiting my mom.

Thanks for leaving this up to brighten my day smile

She knows what you're thinking when you take pictures of those beautiful curves.

I really thought it was possible. I was once married to a woman that made me dispose of a lot of stuff. Including magazines and books that showed women in swimsuits. I couldn't believe being married could be so bad. Never have my parents treated me like she did. I had so bad of an experience that I decided to live the bachelor life. No more screams, giving explanations, go wherever  whenever I want. Sweet!
