Personality Mgmt
Hi! I have been contacted by Augusto Goutt from Personality Mgmt. He says he scouts for international agencies. Does anyone have experience with him? May 27 14 01:15 am Link Hello, Okay I don't know who it is but based on the following facts : - No logo, no real design - it's a blogspot blog EDIT : if he was scouting for international agencies I strongly believe he would have a registered .com address I think there is a high possibility it is somehow fake... Just my $0.02, Valenten http://www.valentenphotography.com May 27 14 02:20 am Link Thankyou for your response Valenten. I was thinking along the same lines. Also because of a bit crippled english, but I guess this guy is spanish. May 27 14 02:37 am Link Yeah, Their facebook page is not more trust-inducing : https://www.facebook.com/pages/Personal … 0205250047 May 27 14 03:34 am Link The web address on the blog is .ie, which is Irish and I've never heard of them. So, I did a search and this is what I found http://www.modelmanagement.com/agency/personality-mgmt/ The link to his Wix website says that the site does not exist. Also, you will notice that his English grammar is bad and the script is poorly written. I've also found a weebly website for him and the home page is blank. All very unprofessional and suspicious looking. If I was in your shoes I wouldn't go near him. The agencies have ties with all the major agencies in the US and international child agencies as well. Do I have a website stating this, or a business card listing the agencies, etc.? No I don't. There are many reasons why I don't. But when I see a model that I can shop to my agency, then I contact her directly. I identify the agency that I am representing and if she has questions or concerns she can consult my contact at the agency. I would suggest investigating who he is representing rather then being so caught up with him. If it turns out to be legit then there is a good chance he is legit too. All you have to do is contact the agency for verification. Alot of times scouts don't identify themselves as scouts unless they are doing this solely for a living or they are scouting you. Good luck. May 28 14 10:01 pm Link Hi, I believe Augusto Goutt used to be the top booker at a modeling agency in Brazil and left to begin his own agency.. I do know, he is based in Brazil and still has good relationships with many clients and agencies all over the world. He is very professional and legit. A professional would rather have no site than a blogger or defunct wix account. There is actually no way to know that this is actually the Augusto Goutt you know, or simply someone using that name. There is a lot here to raise suspicion. Jun 03 14 01:37 pm Link Personality MGMT is definitely legit. I am a model working with Augusto. I have been for about 5 months now. He has gotten me placed recently in Capetown South Africa with a top agency and possibly Milan(he is marketing me to Milan now). He has even gotten me appointments to top agencies in NYC such as VNY, MC2 and Wilhelmina to name a few. I have gone on appointments to these agencies with time, date, and booker's name all the time. Was not like walking into an open call, I actually had the name of the person I was appointed to see. He has connections. I would work with him if I were you. :-) Jun 30 14 07:54 pm Link |
