If the US can pull off a tie that's more than enough to get through. Univision announcers do a better job than ESPN at announcing especially when El Perro Bermúdez does the talking, he usually announces on US games lol

I really want you guys to go through though!
For those who don't know, here are the scenarios for you to go forward.

-Germany & USA ties.
You go through at 2nd Place following Germany at 1st

-Ghana & Portugal tie.
USA & Germany go through, 1st & 2nd depending on the outcome of the game.

-USA wins.
USA go through at 1st Place, Germany 2nd providing that Ghana or Portugal don't make up the goal difference. (Ghana needs 5 points, Portugal Needs 9)

-Germany wins.
USA may go through but this one is dependant on the other game and how much USA lost by and how much the other team won with.

Ghana wins with a 1 point differential -> USA goes through.
Ghana wins & makes up the 2 point differential -> USA goes through for beating for beating them previously.
Ghana wins & with 3 or more point differential -> Ghana goes through

Portugal wins but only makes 4 or less points differential -> USA goes through
Portugal wins & makes up the 5 point differential -> Portugal goes through because they have scored more goals
Portugal wins & makes up the 6 point differential -> Portugal definitely goes through

Here is a really good link to show your chances of going through. It's on at 75%

I read that the experts give the US a 76% chance of advancing. I hope they simply go out and beat Germany and prove they deserve to advance and send a statement at the same time. They played very well against Portugal and deserved to win that game. I've never used the words "heartbreaking draw" before but that's exactly what the result was after Portugal's heroics with just seconds to play.

GO USA!

Hey guys. The games here in NZ is on at 4 in the morning. Now is that too early to start drinking?

I have been feeling stink that I"m watching a Germany game without having a beer.

I mean if i stay up all night, technically i've just been having a really good night no? haha but if i sleep and wake up, then that means its morning.

good logic?

About 2 hours before game time. Weather is a jungle downpour. News reporting streets becoming impassible near stadium. Might be tuff to score. Football gods smiling on US. Go USA!

It will be six pm (that means Cocktail hour Zulu, exact!) in Deutschland at kick off time.

I shall take one for the team (no pun intended) and let you know that in sport and in airports there are two things that are absent from any kind of good sense, rhyme or reason: dress code and cocktail hour.

Also, Prost!!!

(I expect carnage. CARNAGE I SAY!!!... Gawd, now I wish I was back in Dallas at the Londoner.. )

Ready and waiting here, really hope the US wins, would be so good for the game rather than having the usual same line-up, i.e Brazil - Germany - Argentina etc!

...even though we're rooting for Brazil to win entire tournament LOL!

Ghana send stars home from World Cup for disciplinary reasons:

No, they play in the rain. Football is a mans game, unlike those pansy ass US Football nitwits who require body armour just to fart!
