April 03, 2009 9:16pm Oh god please. It's all about shadows. About having darkness contrasting against the light. If I had wanted a full lighted portrait I would. It's called having a style that isn't convention and generic and breaking rules for ones own purposes.
March 16, 2009 5:06pm You have some nice poses but your photographer didn't use the light very well. You need to be further away from the backgrounds to either avoid shadows totally or at least to soften the shadows.
