January 25, 2010 4:23pm I'll agree with the poster that stated needed some fill light to "open the eyes" and some light to show the clothes if it's fashion you are doing. Concept is great and posing is nice.
June 07, 2009 12:07am Some (hopefully) helpful comments:
(1) Put the taller girls at the back. The petite girl in the middle rear should be in the front row.
(2) A small amount of fill flash would have filled in some of the shadows and avoided the "panda eyes" all of the models have.
(3) The fill flash could also help to reduce contrast, so that you can avoid blown out highlights such as on the girls on the extreme left and right of the group.
(4) I don't know what your camera is like, but I wouldn't trust the autofocus, especially in low light conditions. On mine (Canon EOS350d) it is neither accurate nor consistent, so I almost always focus manually.
As for the concept though, that's fantastic. It's a great idea and the girls are well-posed. Just make sure the technical side doesn't gets some attention too. :)
