May 09, 2009 11:46am Great work, but I agree with Skorpion below and left a similar comment on miloubougon site. You've got a wonderful background in the building with the weathered wood, but your subject is sort of being lost in this shot. I think a tighter crop would serve you much better.
You've got strong pieces and a good eye, I think they only need minor touches to really pop!
May 07, 2009 8:20am Hi from Australia. Its always fantastic to see new talent and I love your enthusiasm. Photography is a lifelong learning experience and it doesnt matter how long you have been doing it you can learn. This shot is interesting to me. You have the model looking away as though noticing something.. this creates a mood and a feeling. We ask, why is she crouching, whats happening and that's great in a photo. You use natural light and have done very well in this photo. If I dare make a couple of observations.. perhaps you should look at the cropping of the photo, to get maximum effect. The other is that unless its interntional.... keep the horizon straight. these are all subjective thoughts of course but can make a difference in your images. Keep going, keep practicing and I know in a few years when im long forgotten you will possibly be a name on everyones lips.. Good work keep it up.
