December 31, 2009 5:39am It's almost surreal...dreamlike actually. There is a wonderful sense of visual vertogo occuring here that forces the eye to dance around in order to gain footing, perspective. The play of foreground/background elements give this shot its curiousity, its mystery. I am so struck by the play of light and shadow here...and left wondering, what is the subject matter? That question maek, elevates this image into art for me. Pretty remarkable.
