November 07, 2011 2:21pm Here again your use of the model to become an extension of the tree is quite brilliant. The model does an excelent job of taking on the energy of the tree she inhabits - and you capture those moments so eloquently. I don't know if this is part of a series, but it does seem to be the reply to the image of the model enmeshed in the roots. There, she was a joyful, budding part of the tree's growth. Here, she could be the dryad whose tree has been cut. The light gives me hope, because no matter how many trees have been cut down, their spirit does not die, and this picture illustrates that as a mini-novella. I love the story in your work.
