March 09, 2011 12:07pm Hermetics: Hermes interprets clouds, he conjures and dispels them according to whether he wishes to conceal or reveal. There is something muscular about your image--the force pushed from the torso into the mouth. And the cloud has a physical feel to it (almost ectoplasmic, like psychic matter in a seance). Muscular Christianity? More an image of incarnation, spirit formed from flesh and taking body form. It is a very deep image.
