July 23, 2011 2:49pm This is undeniably powerful. I do not understand the lifestyle but the compassion and support evident from the partner lends an emotional poignancy to the image.
August 12, 2010 3:42am this is actually a little creepy or disturbing to me. i dont mean that as an insult, just an observation. it is possible thats what you were going for anyways :)
August 14, 2009 10:42am Running through the BassPro Shop naked seemed like a good idea at the time to Heather. Bill folded his arms and said.."Shit...I betcha this one is a state records for sure."
Bill II replied, "Are we gonna mount her."
"You betcha...but way before we stuff her."
October 03, 2007 12:46pm I love this. Her, obviously, but the guy holding her hands is personally my favorite part. That and the guy in the background. All their faces are awesome.
August 28, 2007 9:39pm Intense. I love the capture here, clearly a moment frozen in time. Im jealous... I dont get to photograph one until the end of the year :( Kudos to you, this rocks.
August 19, 2007 2:03am This is really powerful.
I recently watched my first live suspension and I think your image captures the human element of this type of act...it's not just steel through skin, but it's hands in hands and eyes to eye as well. This image evokes the same feelings as I had when I saw my friend do her suspension...it was amazing and brought tears to my eyes-this photo brings them back ;)
August 15, 2007 1:58am This is an awesome photo, I love the graininess gives it a very raw feel like its in print in an alternative periodical. I also think its great to see someone showing what flash hook suspension is really like at first. I also love that there is so much going on here, the guy almost pulling down on her arms calmly trying to make it worse? The man in the background with his look of shock/amazement is just priceless.
