My ancestors had to flee the Ukraine around WWI as they had a very nice horse farm that was taken over from them...with only the things they could carry.
They got to Austria, then to America for a new life.
He died of Black Lung/heart issues from working in the coal mines in Eastern Pennsylvania.
I was too young...never got to know my Grandfather...Sad.
