Body is lit well but with the head turned toward the camera, the light turns into a split light which is not flattering for her. Perhaps turn her head back toward her right to achieve more of a Rembrandt lighing effect. Her eyes don't need to be focused on the camera for this image to work. ;)
November 14, 2007 12:27am hey duane, thanks for the tough love. much appreciated. actually this one caught my eye. i think the specular is just too one sided and could be more flattering to the model. Perhaps more fill on the lighting from the other side? In addition, i'm not so comfortable with the crop here. thanks again!
November 01, 2007 9:21am I like this one and the concept. Only thing is that her forehead is patchy and maybe a back light to seperate her from the background. Image looks kind of blurry on the edges try maybe a higher shutter speed.
October 26, 2007 11:39pm Perhaps a more careful composition, separation between subject and background, and more sultry facial expression. Posing could be more assertive and accent her curves. Otherwise, a decent exposure. (feel free to delete my critiques!)
