January 05, 2008 6:00am I saw your forum post. For a thumbnail, my eyes was immediately drawn to it. Not because the woman is nude, not because it's an interracial couple and not because of what it implies. It was her facial expression that drew me. Getting a closer look at the enlargment, I noted the good image quality and the model's fine shape but, more importantly, her pose and then back to her expression. What you managed to capture here is a superb example of a moment frozen in time. Let's forget what the image implies and let's just focus on the model's face. Her expression is what makes it believable and it made this viewer's mind wander into the possibilities of what may have happened next. In other words, build the rest of the story. I don't often come across images like that but, when I'm shooting models, I try to compose the images in a way that has the same "trigger effect" that activates the viewer's imagination. It's easier said than done. That model's expression made it very easy to do for this shot I'm sure.
