Caught in the act of combing her hair, distracted from the viewer, her innate beauty and elegance shines through perhaps more strongly than it would if the performance was directed towards the viewer, with obvious effort to seduce. An excellent showcase for a classically perfect profile, tastefully composed and skilfully lit.
