My name is Richard Smith and I live in Brooklyn. The human face and body have always inspired me; drawing and painting is my way of connecting with the world and exploring that inspiration. I went to Rhode Island School of Design for my BFA in Painting and The New York Academy of Art for my MFA in painting. I have a Decorative Painting Business for many years now but always continue with my studies of the human form.
