My name is Sarah and I've been an artist my entire life.

I love...expressive portraiture the most. In high school, they are all that I drew and painted. When I was handed a camera in college, it's all I wanted to shoot. I originally began taking portraits to use as reference for my drawing and painting, and still do, and my fashion photography passion blossomed from there.

I love...the contours of the face and body, and observing how light scatters across it's subject. I enjoy experimenting with light and have an affinity for dramatic shadows, intense contrast, and the use of hands.

I have been in a few shows and some publications but improving my work is an on-going adventure.

I offer flat, hourly fees for convenience. This includes the session time, post work, a few digital files, and I also provide coaching for newer models building their portfolio if requested. I do TF sparingly...you must be a very experienced model and your portfolio needs to show this. OR if I have a crazy idea and you are willing to be my guinea pig ;] I don't care what you LOOK like, I like the many flavors of life, but you need to be able to execute and accomplish what I need done. I will likely ask you for references from previous photographers so I know you won't flake on me! It's nothing personal guys, it's simply happened too many times =P
