skova. jewelry designer michaela moryskova’s tale reads like a rags to riches (or runaway to runway) classic. after fleeing from her native czechoslovakia and growing up all over the globe, she’s settled on the sunny shores of SD, and set up shop for skova design influenced by her travels to and from milan, tokyo, london and cape town, her line of jewelry has picked up a vagabond chic aesthetic that mixes materials (a mashup of tiger’s eye, pearls and gems) and includes everything from statement necklaces and bangles to delicate earrings with a definitive worldly twist. you’ll see tastes of african safari and tropical seashores in her one-of-a-kind pieces that blend gold and suede or coral and turquoise.
