Emails Pretending to be Model Mayhem Mods

It has come to our attention that a scam is once again going around pretending to be from the Model Mayhem mod team. These scammers currently claim that your account is pending removal and request that you reply to their email, and not to login and contact Model Mayhem about it via CAM - this is a RED FLAG.

THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT REPLY OR SEND ANYONE YOUR PASSWORD.

These emails appear to be sent to users who have publicly available email addresses, posted on their Model Mayhem profiles or on other social media websites. To avoid getting scams like these emailed to you, check your accounts to ensure you do not have your email publicly listed.

As a reminder, Model Mayhem will NEVER ask you for your password, or require that you upgrade your account. Model Mayhem employees and moderators will only contact you using an email or social media account listed on our Member Safety page. Do not respond to people or emails claiming to be from Model Mayhem that use any unlisted email providers, such as Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail, or any social media accounts that are not our verified, legitimate accounts.
