Aurora PhotoArts Tampa Photography and Design is a photography and design services business founded in June 1994 to support the production projects of owner, and founder, C. A. Passinault (Chris Passinault). C. A. Passinault is a popular underground DJ and event planner, as well, starting in 1990. He is also known as DJ Frontier. The first photography session, on June 10, 1994, was for a release cover for one of DJ Frontier's music DJ programs, Futura.
In 1998, Passinault began developing web sites, and more pictures were needed to support those web sites. Photography and design work began to become more aggressive, and we began to work with an increasing number of professional models. Some of those models taught us a lot about the modeling industry along the way.
In 2000, photographer Chris Passinault turned pro, working from a portfolio created from a variety of film and development cameras. Chris Passinault, through his Aurora PhotoArts brand, became a serious professional photographer, specializing in modeling and talent photography.
In 2001, Passinault and a team of models founded Independent Modeling, which became the standard for the independent talent movement. Independent Modeling was a success, and later led to the launch of Tampa Bay Modeling in 2004, Florida Modeling Career in 2008, and the upcoming Advanced Model.
Photographer Chris Passinault and Aurora PhotoArts have done a lot of outstanding work in the Tampa photography and design services market in the years since. In 2010, Passinault began to work on projects which will define the future of the photography market in Tampa Bay, as well as the modeling industry as a whole.
Aurora PhotoArts continues to specialize in model testing, modeling portfolio photography, modeling composite card design, talent headshot photography, headshot set up and design, and professional modeling and talent web sites.

Aurora PhotoArts is owned and operated by Tampa photographer Chris Passinault. We also own, and are directly affiliated with, Independent Modeling, Independent Acting, Tampa Bay Modeling, Tampa Bay Acting, Tampa Bay Film, Tampa Bay Talent, Florida Modeling Career, Advanced Model, and Frontier Pop.

Tampa Shootouts is being maintained as an archive for a successful development program. This will NOT be the web site for our modeling photography event business, the successor of Tampa Shootouts, which is being rebranded and launched on a new web site.
This said, we are using Tampa Shootouts to post news on what we are working on, and it has been recently updated.
