Alisha Martin, doing business as The Bad Button, produces custom corsetry, bridal wear and lingerie to order.

I specialize in modern and historic designs, using updated techniques and extreme attention to detail. All work is custom drafted to enhance my client's shape and express their personality.

My own personal design tastes lean towards the elegant with the occasional foray into the whimsical. I'm looking to collaborate with stylists, photographers and models who are interested in corsetry, bridal work, and the occasional burlesque ensemble.

This is my business, and as such I expect those I work with to be highly professional. Corsets can be loaned for professional shoots for a fee, but I expect to get them back in the same condition. I expect these shoots to be mutually beneficial. If you are interested in modeling or photographing my corsets, add me to your friends. If our visions are similar, I'll contact you about any projects.

At this time, I can only offer collaborative work (commonly referred to as TF) if the corset is not rented out. Through communication with you, the photographer/model/etc, I'm happy to come up with concepts that we both like and are of benefit to both of our visions.

If you are interested in modeling my corsets, please update your profile with accurate measurements. Corsets are meant to mold the body, not hang off of it. If you don't fit the corset, then the photographs will not turn out well. I'd like to see a full profile body view without any retouching so that I can gauge if the corset will fit you correctly. No two bodies are alike.
