About Me
I'm a portrait, event, and fine art figure photographer living near Mount Rainier. I've been photographing people for decades, and have had the privilege of working with many outstanding models and other photographers, some of them professional members of Model Mayhem, others, amateurs met through other means.
My photos range from candid to posed, amateur model to professional, studio-lit to natural light, Facebook-friendly to sensual, classical fine art to erotic. The common thread in my photography is that, whoever I'm photographing, in whatever setting, I look for that spark of individual spirit in their eyes. Sometimes that light dances with delight, and sometimes it smolders with anger or pain. Sometimes it reveals strength, and sometimes vulnerability. Sometimes it sizzles with sensuality, and sometimes it's glimpsed only through cracks in the high walls built up around the soul. But it is that light that, for me, separates a good photograph from a great one, and it is that quality that I strive to capture in the eyes, in the pose, in the composition of my images.
