I'm Toshimi, but most people call me Toshi.

I am a freelance makeup artist located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ever since I was 11 years old, I believed that people's faces were canvases that could be filled with color and beauty. In high school, I did theater makeup for school productions as an after-school activity, and in college, I did theater makeup for ballroom dancing stage performances. I was completely self-taught until early 2010 when I started working for Shiseido Cosmetics. Currently, I work as a freelance artist for Shiseido Cosmetics on the side as well as self-employed artistry.

I love making people feel beautiful and special, with or without makeup. My goal is to enhance one's existing beauty and make people feel comfortable in their own skin. Whether you're looking for a natural, timeless look or an editorial look, let me be your artist.
