I'm a photographer with a bachelor's degree in photojournalism from Point Park University. After receiving my degree in 2009, I began working at a commercial portrait studio, and regularly produced a quality of work with more depth than traditional studio portraiture. While studio photography in a retail setting is a day job that helps pay the bills, that's not where my heart lies.

fashion photography is the field that I am ultimately trying to succeed in, given the similarities between standard photojournalism and editorial fashion photography. While most of my business in terms of financial gain comes from photographing weddings, the work I'm most proud of is my editorial portraiture with a fashion influence.

as i'm more concerned about making a name for myself in the industry, i keep my prices low and never refuse an assignment. I am about to begin photographing for a local magazine, which is giving me an opportunity to showcase my skills at editorial photography for a larger audience, and am doing everything in my power to build a networking arsenal of models, hairstylists and makeup artists.

while i am more than willing to travel anywhere for a job, my biggest ambition is to bring my style of editorial photography infused with a flair for fashion to the mainstream in Pittsburgh.
