I have extensively studied graphic design, color theory, anatomy, composition, digital painting, seamless compositing methods, non-destructive editing, and 3D modeling. Let me weave a story with your imagery. My two main goals are to make the image as pleasing as possible visually and to get the point of the image across as clearly as possible. I do this through through the use of controlled color harmony/color contrast, using contrast and detail to lead the eye, and most importantly by having the image's composition being the driving factor behind decisions that I make. Doing this is my passion - let me polish your imagery to a sparkling sheen.
I generally charge by the image (based off an initial estimate). I decide the estimate by considering how long it would take (generally $40 hourly) and the difficulty of the project/expertise required. Here are some examples of rates I find myself frequently charging:
Basic: basic blemish removal, structural adjustments, general enhancements (contrast, color correction, web sharpening) $40
Full: Even transitions, unify texture, improve composition, extensively "polish" image $60-$120+ (based on time required)
Illustrative retouching generally starts around $65
I've listed rates under the images in my gallery to give you a rough idea of what I'd charge for a similar job. Contact me for more specific rates (please describe the project) or for a more accurate estimate send me your image; I'll tell you how I'd polish it and the pricing.
Once I receive the payment through Paypal I begin the retouch. Turnaround time is 1-2 days. Discount of 15% for orders over 5.
