I work in studio only, no location shooting at all. I usually have a concept I work on for 4-6 weeks with different models before moving on. I'm mainly interested in themes of fitness, action (dance, martial arts) and "alternative" beauty/fashion with elements of goth and cosplay.
I do my own retouching except in exceptional cases (problematic or especially good pictures) in which case I use professional retouchers to get perfect result.
I'm renting a fully equipped
studio with great facilities in Oakland. Due to my work I'm only available weekdays after 6pm and some weekends.
If I'm reaching out to you, I always pay for your time. For TF*-like work or brand new models/MUAs the payment is in the order of gas/lunch money. With experienced models/MUAs we'll negotiate a fair price.
For trade shoots I will provide at least 3-5 retouched photos within two weeks of the shoot. More if agreed in advance. For paid shoots I unfortunately cannot commit to providing any photos unless specifically agreed beforehand. So be sure to request if that is something you are looking for.
I believe in good communication and keeping the promises made. I prefer MM messaging or email as it keeps things well organized. I expect everyone to confirm their arrival the day before via email, text message or phone call.
I'm doing this for fun. I have no ambitions to be a professional, and I'm only shooting things I enjoy.
This is a serious hobby for me. I do approach this professionally, with good planning and great communication.
Note: I only friend people I've worked with, or plan to work with. MM is a networking tool and I don't believe in infinite list of 'friends' just to get my numbers up.
