Thank you for looking at my profile and images. 

I have over 20 years of experience as a photographer.  I learned the craft as a photojournalist with a decade of experience as chief photographer of a daily newspaper.  I now  have a studio in the third ward of Milwaukee. 

This is not my primary source of income so I am able to be very choosy about projects.   I do enjoy working with models on their portfolios, shooting portraits of artists, and personal photojournalism projects.

I often work with models to build or augment their portfolio and am willing to work with promising models on a TFP or TFCD basis.  While it is not required, I am always willing to meet a model for a cup of coffee and to review her book prior to the first shoot.  This allows me to identify if there are gaps in a portfolio and to plan a shoot that is productive.  It allows us both to clarify expectations of the shoot regarding wardrobe, stylists, and time.  Shooting with me is a collaborative process.  I appreciate input and ideas from models, but can also orchestrate and direct the shoot.  I always let models review all the photos from the shoot.  Unless something extraordinary happens in my business life, I deliver edited images to the model within two weeks.

I encourage models to bring an escort to any shoot.
