ATTN: doing very little trade work right now. I'm unemployed and thus low on funds, so paid work takes priority. My rates are reasonable and negotiable and I will totally consider other forms of payment other than money (i.e. wardrobe, accessories, craft supplies, props, etc).
So, my name is Lauren; I'm 21 and pretty much photography has been my life for about four years. It's pretty much like oxygen, actually. I'm here to meet and work with people who feel the same about this industry as I do, as well as gain experience and improve my skills in this field. As far as goals go, I don't really have any; I just want to have fun and make some art.
I like/would like to do a range of genres, including fashion/editorial and alternative fashion. I love to experiment and try new things; there isn't a whole lot I will shy away from, so don't hesitate to ask me about other concepts and ideas.
I love latex, I love corsets, I love ballet heels and platform shoes! I definitely want to shoot more of these things.
Important things to know:
-I live in the middle of nowhere and I can't drive. My rates are negotiable partly because of this fact. If you come to me or meet me halfway, I greatly appreciate it. Seriously.
-I fucking love to swear. No apologies. If it truly offends you, I'll try to keep things clean.
-I'm laid back and easy to work with, but I'm no good at directing. Minor adjustments are about all I provide on a shoot. If you're new at this posing business, please let me know ahead of time so I can try to prepare an arsenal of poses for you prior to shooting.
-I have two dogs and do plenty of shooting in my own house. If you are afraid of or allergic to dogs, tell me. We'll shoot somewhere else or I will put them outdoors during the time you're at my home.
-I can do makeup and have done so for many shoots. But I'm not a makeup artist, so don't expect anything crazy. And I'm useless with hair.
-I love working with a team! Hair/makeup artists, wardrobe stylists, clothing designers...I love all of you. Always looking to collaborate/work with you guys.
-Abandoned locations hold a special place in my heart. I'm always on the lookout for these places.
-I'm free any day of the week, but if I have to travel, weekends only please.
-Speaking of travel, I can't go very far. Anything more than an hour is really hard to do. I have to rely on family/friends for transportation, so please understand if I can't make it to you for a shoot.
-That said, photography is something I truly love doing, so let's make some badass pictures together.
