Haven't seen it yet.. but really should. I have two friends that are IN it. One is an extra and the other is a body double for one of the girls... I think maybe that's what I'll do tonight.. movies!

Loved the movie. Loved the comic books before them. I know this cements my geek-dom, but I actually have a cold cast porcelain bust of Marv in my bookcase. The only excuse i have is that I used to work as a computer colorist for comics back when I was in college. Yeah, not much of an excuse.

I saw it earlier tonight and loved it! Elijah Wood's character will haunt me until I die... That was some seriously badass stuff, hehe.

I found it to be beautifully casted, and while the  acting wasn't Oscar-worthy, I thought that it really suited the mood and theme of the piece. Bruce Willis had some golden lines, Rosario Dawson did GREAT character work, and I fell in love with the Tarintino scene right away smile.


However, it wouldn't be able to  stand up to repeat viewings for me. Maybe a second viewing, but that's about it... I really want to do some shoots akin to the style, heh. Soon MM will be flooded with Sin City themes.


Oh, and here's a question: Why on EARTH did that rapist guy mutate into some alien look-alike from Star Trek?

Has any one else ever seen a movie done in that style of film. Then don't hate, relate. I love the style and the fact that it takes you away from reality and puts you in a comic book phase for the next two hours. I give this movie two thumbs-UP and and my two big toes.
