She was a freeway foundling that was handed down to us by the finder who couldn't keep her any longer. She is frequently a subject of my portraits and definitely the easiest of my three with which to work. The other two are Butthead (my first dachshund) and Sofie. Lady is a greyhound... she was abandoned at a dog track when her owner decided she wasn't good enough to race anymore.  Skippy is a greyhound/german shepard cross (apparently!) he was left at a rehoming centre after his owners split up and neither wanted to keep him. I love them both to bits, and miss them so much, they live at home with my parents, so I don't see them very often...I wish they could live with me, but they're a bit big for a city centre flat! Aug 22 07 01:38 pm Link SORRY FOR THE GIANT PICTURES! I have three babies whom I love. The first two are Caveliar King Charles Spaniels. The brown/white one is Chester; my parents bought him for me 9 years ago for my 11th birthday. The second one is Bentley; I bought him last summer for my boyfriend's daughter's birthday. this is what Bentley looked like as a puppy when we got him  and this is what they both look like now  and this is my baby Stoli [yes, after the vodka]. She was owned by our neighbor a few years ago, and one day I went into the backyard, and the dog was being KICKED by the owner; mind you, the dog was no more than 15 months at the time. She said she was "training" the dog. I called the Animal Control, they arrested the woman, and I got the dog =]. She is 5.5 now, and she is the SWEETEST dog in the world. She was found by some friends who already have a cat and couldn't keep her, so I took her in(in addition, she was declawed stray). That was 3 years ago and I love her so much. Aug 22 07 11:35 pm Link Here are my 2 lovely Pekingese, these were taken when they were 4 months old. They are 9 months now. The cream/white one is Li-Li & the sable/beige one is Mei-Mei.
