I live on music 24/7, so it's just a wonder what others listen to right at this second. I am listening to Gavin DeGraw's "Chariot". Sometimes I get that spark of creativity from music. SO how does it effect your work?

Rammstein, The Doors, and three others in the player at home.  In the one at work it's Mozart...I need relaxing music to help with all the barking dogs lol.

Rammstein helps get my blood pumping and makes the creative juices flow.  Classical, singing bowls, Celtic help when I'm working on clothing or a craft project smile

Damn. That joke isn't as funny as it was 10 years ago. I am finally considering making the conversion to CDs from cassettes now that CD-RWs are easy to come by, but most of my stuff is on vinyl.

Indeed. Nothing beats 10,000 people storming the pavillion at Blossom Music Center in Ohio during the first Lollapalooza when Nine Inch Nails took the stage. Or seeing people tribally dancing around bonfires on the lawn as Jane's Addiction played "Chip Away" ... Wow ...

Yep, nothing like the late 80's/early 90's for music...and I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that it coincided with my late teens. The first time I heard the B-52's, NIN and Janes addiction are burned in my memory. And yes, Lollapalooza was the coolest, dude...and the bonfires...yeah. I went to st. andrews hall and city club in detroit and we were SOOOOOOO goth. and that was when goth didn't have a name yet.

Heh, I came home from work listening to ODB (The ol' dirty story), then came home to mellow with a bit of Portishead. I've cued up Earth Wind & Fire for tomorrow morning, get my spirits up a bit before I head to the lab, where I left my Autechre CD. But Eric mentioned Depeche Mode, which gets me thinking, I haven't seen my copy of Ultra in weeks...

A compilation through my laptop...Misc. Christian music (Casting Crows, DC Talk, Ginny Owens, Todd Agnew, Selah, Smitty) coupled with a bit from the "darker" side (Disturbed, KORN, Lincoln Park, and MegaDeth, Marylin Manson)...

what can i say; it's that bi-poloar mentality that allows me to develop a website for a church and then finish up the hardcore adult site immediately thereafter...

(just don't mix up the uploads!!!)

Take care, and God Bless!
