So how exactly does that work then? What's the intended use of the images you create? I never brought up how I wanted to use the photos, they just stated that fee. You don't seem solid on what you will be allowed to do. I guess I just would be very surprised if you all could just go in with like 30+ people, creating a disruption of the normal touring scenario, and walk out to use the photos anyway you want for $30 each. They told me I could shoot the architectural all I wanted when there (as do most who visit) but beyond that it would be the $1000+

I am going to try for March 14th, I think that will work for everyone.  I will email ESP and hope to hear from them on Monday.   That day is my birthday; nice way to celebrate it.

Everone must pay the $35, even escorts, ESp wants a rental fee and acount for every warm body i the place.  Also covers food and drink.   Last group shoot we held one husband refused to pay and said he would not be eating the food either.  They walked away with 3 plates of food plus 2 more they ate earlier that day.  Hope all understand, where we are coming from.

I thin they are working with us becouse it could be a large amount of money the cover their expences.  One thing is that you do have to post where the pictures were taken when you to use them.  As long as there is no nudity or fetish we are good to go with taking what ever pics we want.

I hate to say this, because I really really want to go, but it's just too soon for me to be able to   I just started a new job this upcoming Monday, and can't really get the time off on Friday to be able to drive down there. I was hoping we'd be somewhere near the end of the month, or in April when I had the money and vacation time to be able to do it, but it looks like i'm stuck. I'm so sorry, and I hope everyone has a good time!

I think it would only be about a 4.5 hour drive...  you could set out early Sat. morning...

True; but i'd be dreading the drive home the entire time, and would be driving alone. The other photographer I wanted to bring with me can't go that early and I really wanted to drive down the day before, spend the weekend, and take my time with the shoot, enjoy, photograph the building and spend the full 8 hours... but this early things will just be too crunched for me

There will time blocked out by the hour for model/models to shoot with the photographer.

Also if you are bringing models please provide names for the list.  I am going to confirm the date of the shoot (March 14th) on Monday.  Once I get a confirmed date and have all paper work mailed to me I will have everyone start sending entry fee.  Fee will be accepted by mail or PayPal.  All information for both will be on website. 

Until then feel free to set up your shoots for the day.  The shoot will run 10am to 6pm (8hours).  That way there is plenty of daylight.  Keep in mind if shoots times are blocked out back to back hours we will all be off schedule by the 3 hours or sooner.  Large place and people will have a hard time finding each other.  I am planning on everyone providing me with cell phone numbers when they check in.  This is so we can call and find you when you are needed by the next model or photog.

If it is the 14th, Linda, I won't be able to attend.  The 14th is my late father's birthday and one week to the day before he passed away last year.    I'll need to be with my mother that day I'm afraid.

Do we know how they will qualify something as 'fetish'? I wouldn't want to do something that is too borderline for them and end up getting kicked out/ not being able to use the photos.

p.s. Open for carpooling from Richmond, VA or anywhere up that route.
