Feb 25 11 04:33 pm Link I always find these threads amusing as it shows that some experienced photographer wants to laud their experience over the less fortunates. Personally I never tire of cliche images as it shows that an emerging or fledgling photographer (Myself included) is trying to emulate images that inspire them. The ability to be original comes once you have a comfort level with your ability to replicate images. The next step being of course to "create". I personally have 2 images of models sitting on toilets, so this makes me a prime offender. Do I care - heck no! But then photography is my hobby not my job. If I see or shoot another one I'm gonna puke. LOL Actually, IMO photo concepts are only cliches if they are done badly or not improved on, lack of originality.
