Season 3 things started to get really really good and Season 4 is one of the best seasons of television ever. If you pick it up again you'll understand.

I've been watching season 3, i really don't like it. Walt is an intelligent guy, too smart not to realize all the sexually frustrated downwards spiral crap is just going to leave him all alone. His outbursts are just painful to watch and you just feel embarrassed for him. I really like Giancarlo Esposito's character since he's a really atypical kind of kingpin and he's not really made for the drug world which is why he's so great at it. That was what made the first season good, seeing Walt exceed at something the addicts and thugs thought they knew better, but its gotten almost unwatchable because i keep on watching it thinking, "i dont care about any of these people". For all i care, walts entire family could die and the show would be much better off.

Strange thought, what if Walt's call at the end of the episode was to kill Lydia and not Jesse ?

That was some crazy shit.

All I kept thinking is this...
Walt, why are you crying now man?  You wanted to knock off Jesse, to save your family/money/what really?  You say Jesse is like family to you but you want to kill him.  Is it your f'ing pride because you can't manipulate him anymore?  Or is it because he didn't meet with you to talk?

Who are you really protecting?

You said Jesse wasn't a rat but then find out he partnered up with Hank on busting your sorry ass. Who dies?  That would be a real bitch if Hank dies.  You almost made him not able to walk anymore and even so, he walks around with the limp because of YOU.

Are you crying because Hank is there AND Jesse betrayed you?

He never cried until he got caught.

Hummmm

I think Hank is going to die in the shoot out.
IMBD says that Krysten Ritter (Jane) is going to be in the next episode, which means it's probably a flashback. Jesse is most likely going to find out that Walt let her die since Vince Gilligan said that there would be no loose ends by the time the series is over, and that's the biggest thing that Walt has been keeping from Jesse.
Regardless, Jesse better not die or I'll hire Todd's crew to take out Vince, even though I'm sure Jesse is going to.

How true, but at the bottom of every 'man', there is weakness.  See, it's always in you.  It's the kind of shit that when pressed, up against the eightball, painted in a corner thing that makes you who you are.

Walt just never had to go to these depths in his soul, but they were there.

Even Jesse is somewhat predictable.  He can shift alliances easily if he feels that someone 'cares'.  He knows Walt sold him out, but interestingly enough, there is some connection that Jesse and Walt share.

Jesse and Hank did the same thing...

"This was the place we had our first cook."  They were strangely 'happy' then.  Good times; it's when they bonded.

Hank had to sock it to him about his cellphone barrel/money pic, in the backyard where they had cookouts with the family.

They are both reminiscing like people do when they still care.

It's all very emotionally abusive to all.

He was willing to leave everything behind for her.

If you ever knew an addict, a guy in trouble with the law, etc., you just shake your head at it all.

Well, the opener in August was Walt with his hair grown in, the skateboarders doing bowls in the pool, so I wonder.

I am so anti drug, and anti meth in particular because I have "lost" some sweet wonderful people to drugs, that I don't care to watch breaking Bad.  That said, I just found this clip that tells me that breaking Bad is great for the 35 MM movie film industry!  They shoot most of it with film!  Check out this scene where you can see the movie cameras .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EARSsTfEElU

I love film, so anything to keep film being used is alright with me!  wink

Unfortunately I think Hank and Gomez are guaranteed dead next week.
Jesse is 50/50.

Not knowing which season/episode, I'm not clicking tongue

Watched 15 episodes yesterday...

S1E1 - S2E7 plus last night's new one.

Hopefully caught up with the old ones in the next day or two.

I can't wait until this season is over so I can start watching it.   I'll make it a marathon of the final 8 shows, which is how I usually watch any series.

Have you gotten to the one where Jesse dresses up like a goat and starts communicating in nothing but interpretive tap dance?

Good stuff.

one of the best gifs EVAR!! i was reading about this scene on imdb. or some other site.

as for everything else, that shootout was intense. and thats how they had to end it of course! it doesnt look good for hank. i think jesse will get out. barely. walt will be able to survive thru it all, cancer or not. i am still baffled about the first scene of ep1 of this season. what was he doing with the machine gun? where did he go? and the scene where he goes back to his old house after it was closed off!! sometimes i hate myself for watching so much tv.

It's so obvious what's gonna happen at the beginning of next week's ep that I think ... it's not gonna happen. Don't know how but I think Hank gets away.

But Jesse? I know this ... that meth ain't gonna cook itself. I can see the nazis making Jesse an offer he can't refuse.

3 eps left.
