I just happen to have some of this stuff. Feb 03 13 01:35 pm Link sorry if a mod could move this to the correct location that be great. Is glitter gel hard to find? Feb 06 13 02:41 pm Link As a safer, albeit more expensive, alternative, I would suggest gold leaf, or even imitation gold leaf. I would not recommend glitter anywhere near the eyes or other openings of the body. Feb 06 13 02:46 pm Link The difference between craft and cosmetic grade is the paint pigments used to color the glitter. As some may argue that both craft and cosmetic glitter are not metal but polyester. Non-toxic simply means it is ok for humans to use - not wear or eat. Cosmetic glitter is equally as cheap as craft glitter. Yes craft glitter is quick to find at Walmart or such and cosmetic grade may have to be ordered. Oh well! An inexpensive glitter gel is Snazaroo, or try Amerikan Body Art, as you can get it there in varied sizes and colors. But lots of places have glitter gel including the big makeup companies like Mehron. Or hit up most stores that cater to body painters and see what they carry, and ask about some tricks.
