Soooo I participated in a forum whereas every1 shouted out their Facebook, Twitter etc pages... I got one photographer to participate in "LIKE" of my fan page, but shortly after accused me of un-liking their Facebook fan page... and I really didn't... However today I noticed he un-liked my page.... With all that being said... Whats the deal? I am a Bay Area Model & Business woman and don't understand the concept of this... Yes everyone wants "TONS" of likes but why the games?? Sum1 help! I am confused

Sounds like a lot of jumping to conclusions going on. No telling why they did what they did, doesn't equal some unifying theory of human behavior.

so someone thought you didn't like their page, so they unliked your page cause they felt they weren't being reciprocated (mistakenly or not). whats confusing about that? its immature internet shenanigans.

Yep. Happens all the time. Just ignore him & move on. Facebook has been messing up fan pages for a while.

I'm pleased if someone likes my work, but I don't play games with it.

Not sure but the whole matter may simply be a banner ad that's been popping up recently on MM saying essentially "Someone unfriended you today. Click here to find out who." The idea being that you'd click the ad and sign up for their "service". Unless it's really important to you, in which case all you can do is try to contact the person and see if you can fix the relationship, I'd say just ignore it. The "friends" and "likes" we see in the social networks generally mean nothing at all. All IMHO as always, of course.

I don't understand the problem? This isn't Facebook. Maybe he stopped liking you, who cares?

A very good reason why we should never have a 'Like' button on MM. That and IB would probably mess up the code for it, of course.

I wouldn't notice if someone unfriended my FB profile or unliked my FB page. How would I? It's not like I print out the list of names or anything. :p

Dear T H Taylor Thank you, you've made me see the error of my ways. I'm not sure what came over me when I wrote that response. On reflection it was possibly the result of the momentary hilarity I found swelling in my bosom at the thought of a 'real' business woman taking the time out of her busy 'business' schedule to post a thread to total strangers on a website about being 'unliked' on facebook. I apologise, I have my sense of perspective totally upside down and back to front. You are of course again correct - I should have just ignored it. I'm sorry.

I"ve noticed that sometimes Facebook will not show a like, comment, or friend accept even after you see that it was actually completed. It will look like the person unliked, uncommitted, ect. Then miraculously, it will register again. Tricky Facebook.....

Don't worry too much about it, let them lose sleep not you It's rather annoying when people are always pushing for likes. Let your work speak for itself and not be over baring. Was he a photg in your area you'd work with? If not *shrugs*
