Mature 18 + images are allowed but must contain a link and not the actual image posted. 9. Photo Artwork must be digital art. 10. Unlike some contests you may post a story to go along with your work. 11. If you enter, you are expected to vote. It's common courtesy! 12. No re-entering a picture that has already won. 13. You should post with your entry what medium (software used) and how you processed the artwork(example : Photo, new background, Painted etc or Oil painted, photoshop etc...) If you do not post how you processed it (steps taken) and the medium, you may be disqualified. 14. Must include actual PHOTO of person that YOU participated in created (as photographer or digital artist ). No 3d characters as main focus. THE EXPLANATION OF HOW THE IMAGE IS PROCESSED IS A VITAL PART OF THIS CONTEST. ACCEPTED ENTRIES: 1. Photomanipulation (ie. Changed as if adding object, extracting, new background, elements etc.) Describe in detail. 2. Painting Digitally(oil or anything else.) 3 . A photo that has the same elements but is then rendered into a different photo, for example adding a third person, a castle and changing colors and hand painting it. 4. Drawing in photoshop, painter etc...Describe in detail. NOT ACCEPTED ENTRIES: 1. Photos right out of camera. 2. Photos only changed in color, saturation or corrections. 3. Retouches (skin changes, smoothing and blurring, removel of blemishes and changing the overall color of background, clothes etc....) 4. Simple copy and paste onto background. 5. Images created using copyrighted imagery from another individual, company, etc. No game screen shots. Please follow these. Created floor and wall from three different PS filters. Created wall-art with two additional photos, created frames in PS, hung on wall, added shadows to model, umbrella and paintings, blurred background and immediate foreground, then changed overall colors as last step. Jun 12 13 06:08 am Link Photoshop – TRAPPED: Model posed on wooden bridge structure, background replace with moonlit sky and hill, grave yard added by models feet, light beams added with selections and white painted motion blur, smoke added to models hand that is in the light, bat wings added and colour corrected to match models skin, timber structure burned and cloned to remove excessive lighting. Plus the regular assortment of tricks (dodge, burn, colour correction, etc.). Jun 12 13 09:17 am Link Model was shot on the bank then put on the log over the water , water was way deeper than we expected. added in the lantern and then a light glow. dragon was drawn in sections then put together and painted in. Water was painted in with layers of color. added in moon behind the trees and added several color overlays. Jun 13 13 04:43 am Link I decided to put together some apocalyptic images yesterday when the weatherman predicted storms that would ravage the midwest. I guess I missed the storm! Model was shot in studio and added to a stock background. More flames were added. Reflection of flames added to the goggle eyepieces of the gas mask. Played with hues and saturations. Gave the entire piece a grungy hdr feel.
