I agree.  I think it would look really good on you.  Especially with your retro style.

Whatever you do, get it done at a professional colorist. Doing it at home will wreck your hair, and then you'll have to go in for a correction which can cost more than the initial dye job

So true! And be prepared for the cost and upkeep. Platinum blonde destroys the hair even when done properly over time, so there will be a big investment in products to condition and protect your hair. You'll have to avoid pools and heat tools. Wash your hair as little as possible and then in cold water. I love Paul Mitchell's Forever Blonde spray, Unite's Seven Seconds to condition & protect, Clairol Shimmerlights shampoo, and Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi Keratin Treatment for conditioner as well as Kerastase's Masqueintense. Dry shampoo will be your best friend.

When I look at your skin tone and your list of inspirations, I think dark hair.

I say keep the eyebrows. The name of the game isn't always to make it look as natural as possible.

Not sure on wether or not to do eyebrows. Brigitte never did hers, but mine just may be too dark to get away with that.

You could lighten them a little but I would not go all the way blonde/

I think you look good as a blonde.

IMO she could have lightened hers a bit but who's to say

She was Marilyn Monroe!

I like the hair, looks good on you
Next time, point your left shoulder more towards the camera, drop your left shoulder some as if you were pointing your shoulder at the ground about 15 feet away from you, hold the camera about eye level and further away from you, pick your chin up so it is level with the ground, and see how that brings out your awesome jawline. smile  ( experiment with this, have some fun, and share the results!)

It would suit you but I'd recommend everyone to get a wig before going to a dramatic change. http://www.demirawigs.co.uk have some great style wigs.
