 Welcome to Model Mayhem's Fantasy Art Of The Day This contest is not limited except for the FANTASY theme , this means everyone can participate no matter what group or profession artistically you are fitted into . PLEASE READ RULES BEFORE YOU ENTER . Hours of Operation: 12am MM Time - 12am MM Time. MON-WED-FRI! Voting does not start until: 12pm Eastern Time. Each day of contest , MON-WEDS-FRI . And times are as follows : SUNDAY/MONDAY MIDNIGHT : ENTER , VOTING STARTS AT 12 PM EASTERN TIME MONDAY AND ENDS TUESDAY/WEDS AT MIDNIGHT TUESDAY/WEDS MIDNIGHT : ENTER , VOTING STARTS AT 12 PM EASTERN TIME WEDS AND ENDS THURSDAY/FRIDAY MIDNIGHT . THURSDAY/FRIDAY MIDNIGHT : ENTER , VOTING STARTS AT 12 PM EASTERN TIME FRIDAY AND ENDS SATURDAY/SUNDAY MIDNIGHT And this is the schedule every week so no one gets any confusion . PLEASE READ RULES BEFORE YOU ENTER . IMPORTANT: RULES 1. One entry per person per day. 2. One vote per person per day. 3. No bumping your entry. 4. No vote stacking or asking for other MM members to vote for you. 5. Voting starts at 6 pm the day after submissions ,it closes at the posting of the new contest. However entries start as soon as post is up. 6. No voting for an image you participated in creating. 7. To vote, quote the entry you wish to vote for and type "Vote". 8. Mature 18 + images are allowed but must contain a link and not the actual image posted. 9. Fantasy Artwork can be any medium. but must always be fantasy themed . 10. Unlike some contests you may post a story to go along with your work. 11. If you enter, you are expected to vote. It's common courtesy! 12. No re-entering a picture that has already won. 13. Host's and CO-Hosts may also enter contest . 14. You must include an actual ARTWORK of a person,place or thing that YOU participated in creating (as photographer,mua,painter,model,photoshop wizard, retoucher or digital artist ). 15. It must be fantasy art , included but not limited to : myths , legends,faeries,elves,fairy tales,princess,LOTR's,Harry Potter, planets,SCI-FI, etc etc as examples . 16. If there are more than two winners there will be a vote Cast by one of the two hosts to break the tie . 17. Model mayhem moderators may temporarily suspend or permanently ban from the contest any individual who flagrantly violates contest rules or is disruptive. Such individuals may not enter their work, have others enter their work, or vote in the contest. This may be done without prior notice. 18. This contest is purely a member-run activity and does not carry with it any monetary value or equivalent prizes. It is run purely by the contest host and is not moderated or monitored by the broader site moderation/administration team. All disputes, issues, complaints associated with the contest must be directed at the contest host only. The choice to partake in the contest is voluntary and Model Mayhem will not be held responsible for your participation or actions as a result of your participation. Let's keep it clean and fun! 19. If only one or two people enter and no one votes , the winner will be either the one person or both if there are two submissions . If there are more than two entries , Host and Co host will decide the winner . 20 . If there is a three way tie with votes the host and co host will decide the winner . 21. If you remove your entry numerous times over the course of two weeks , it is three strikes your out policy . you will be banished from the contest permanently . 22. if your image wins that image may not be re submitted for three months for a win . THE EXPLANATION OF HOW THE IMAGE IS PROCESSED IS Not NECESSARY !!!! ACCEPTED ENTRIES: 1. Photomanipulation (ie. Changed as if adding object, extracting, new background, elements etc.) 2. Painting Digitally(digital oil or anything else.) 3 . A photo that has the same elements but is then rendered into a different photo, for example adding a third person, a castle and changing colors and hand painting it. 4. Drawing in photoshop, painter etc... 5 . Right out of camera or very little editing . 6. Actual paintings 7. Fashion faerie tales or fantasy fashion tales . 8 . Any Medium really , except game-shots ! MUST BE FANTASY !!!!! 9. Any subject material , wither human ,animals or objects and places as long as it is fantasy . 10. pencil drawings , any drawing . NOT ACCEPTED ENTRIES: 1. GAME=SHOTS 2. Wither it is Strait out of camera or otherwise a painting etc , photos nothing to do with fantasy . (examples :sexy pin up, plain fashion ,headshot with no fantasy themes etc another example simple painting of a girl etc ). 3. Images created using copyrighted imagery from another individual, company, etc. Please follow these. If anyone submits images that are violating the rules we will disqualify it from the contest.
