But I started this these contests because it does bring me joy . I have a very painful debilitation of an illness , I have Cancer and HS (if you are not sure what HS is look it up on the internet and I am in stage 4) I do not want a pity party . that is not why I am typing this . But I suffer from a top very chronic illnesses and it take every bit of energy I have to run my home , during the day I have no time to be online . I have children who need me , my mother who is also sick , who needs me , a very ill husband as well presently . The times presented are the only times I can run the contest without having issues that interfere with my well being and taking care of my family . I am very sorry if this causes anyone confusion or causes anyone to get ticked and walk away . This contest and the other one I run are the only two joys I really have besides my own art when I am able to work on it . I am writing this not to explain myself , but just so you know why the hours of the contest are the way they are and why I do this in the first place , not so I can win or see people win but because it is not only something fun , but I get to see other artists work and that is totally enjoyable to me and makes me happy . And there are very few things in this world that give me any joy as much pain as I am in . So please if you want to complain about the hours etc understand they are the way they are for a very good reason . Thank you all for your support and entering and coming together in way that I hope could be a nice way to have fun and enjoy each others artwork .
