This workshop taught by Lisolette Gilcrest will provide suggestions and tips on the basics of getting the right equipment, finding other erotic models and photographers, creating your scenes, setting up your portfolio and finding venues to show your work at.  A brief Q & A session will follow the presentation; participants are encouraged to bring their existing portfolio (if they have one) for feedback and suggestions and there will be products available for sale at the workshop.

ABOUT ME

I create art when I feel that the end result will not only be aesthetically pleasing, but will also be a thought-provoking piece. Entirely self-taught, I want to inspire conversations about important socio-political and/or religious issues, as well as conversations about my favourite topic... personal identity.

I began publicly exhibiting my work in September 2006 - most of which has centered around erotica.  I feel that my erotica is distinctly feminine, focusing less on "the deed" and more on the delicious intangibles of romance, attraction, desire and lust fighting against the restrictions of social taboos, gender roles, and personal inhibitions. 

NITTY GRITTY

This is not my profession, nor do I ever want it to be... it's a hobby and a passion and because of that I do not pay models.  All of my shoots are intended to create art, not necessarily commercial products, and are exclusively TFE (Time for Exchange of Prints/Images), meaning finishes only - no raw images - unless specifically negotiated.  On the occasion that the art sells, I have always shared some of the profit with the model... that's about the best I can offer.  I'm not looking to get rich off of you, I'm looking to find brilliant minds to collaborate with and make great art for the purpose of making art.
