For years, I have been shooting live music and musicians. Fun and challenging, yes -- but I'm in a rut. Knocking about in the pit shooting with available light and red gels... I'm kinda over it, and I need something new.
As my style and interest evolves, I am concentrating on expanding my portfolio by doing more creative work in the studio and on the run in the street. I am not particularly interested in taking pretty pictures unless I get to play with light. I am looking for models in the SF Bay Area with an indie/alternative/hipster vibe for promo-style shots in-studio at my loft or on location in (sub/)urban areas. If you are a musician who wants to do publicity shots, let's talk. I also have ongoing projects that require a number of different looks. I run non-photography-oriented companies that pay my bills, which leaves me free to pursue only those projects that really interest me. I am professionally-minded with a laid-back and easygoing manner. Shooting with me is fun and enjoyable -- or it should be, anyway. I expect similar attitude and work ethic from those I collaborate with. No flakes, please -- time is one of my only finite resources. Oh, and I don't shoot while nude, so please don't ask. ;-) Recent shoots: * Gallery shots for upcoming Nemomatic show @ SJMOMA * Promo shoot for Oakland band Maldroid * Promo shoot for Bay Area Derby Girls team: ShEvil Dead * Promo shoot for Oakland's Elliot Randall Band * Live music photography for various SF Bay Area indie rock bands Ongoing projects that could also be band names: (ask me!) * Pretty | Gritty * Trick Diptych * The Punchclock Project Verified Credits (0)Worked with Cameron Obscura1?
