The Golden Brush Awards: Theme-80's!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Golden Brush/Needle/Comb Award (for theme oriented style in a still image) CONTEST RULES: (PLEASE READ) â¢Open to Makeup Artists, BodyPainters, Hairstylists, and Wardrobe Stylists ONLY â¢Each artist in their category will CREATE! an image with their interpretation of the concept or theme. ( Older pics can be used once fitting to the theme) â¢Entrants can submit up to THREE different interpretations of the concept ( if your such the creative that you create so much! ) ⢠Pictures submitted in a previous theme CANNOT be submitted in the next theme regardless if they won or not. â¢Pictures posted should be no larger than 800pixels X 800pixels â¢As everyone is quite busy each concept is open for 3 weeks. â¢Photoshoots do not have to be an actual professional shoot but must clearly show the makeup/hair/wardrobe. â¢At the end of the 4 week period we can all vote on the best concept and the winner picks the next theme. (this is to ensure that everyone gets the time to post their pics so that the votes will be fair). [ winner cannot participate in the next theme that they choose!] NB- ALLLLLLL ENTRIES MUST HAVE ALLLLLL ELEMENTS OF THE CHOSEN THEME. -NO QUOTING OF THE PICS OR VOTING BEFORE VOTING TIME. She has stitches on the side and under her jaw, but you can't see them. The director liked the white face and flesh colored body. I cannot imagine a better era... I LOVE LOVE the 80's. Yes Im probably like the girl in 16 candles, STUCK without a door out. These videos just reminded me so much of how crazy the hair was, the makeup was purposely designed and let me just say not alot of crazy blending like we do now. sigh Thank you Anthony!! Apr 03 09 04:09 pm Link LOL I could go on and on ha ha ha Apr 03 09 09:05 pm Link Please take this "entry" for what it is: This was for last Halloween, I did my sister and our friend's makeup for a Halloween party at a New Wave party- with some mild hair and wardrobe done on my part.  Note the classy bright blue shadow and hot pink pout, and kudos to said friend for getting into the spirit of the evening and dabbing on some red lipgloss into her nostril. We couldn't get the bangs to crimp just right though.  Someone came up to them at the party and told them they looked like "coked up hookers in Times Square during the 80's", and I think that's the best compliment anyone has ever paid me indirectly.
