I met her at a fashion show recently and, although she has an early "join" date, she is really just starting her modeling career in earnest. Her interests includes all facets of the fashion industry including design, marketing, and merchandising. She was a joy to work with; we shot a record (for me) thirteen looks in six hours. I had the opportunity to do some test shoots with her, about two weeks ago and despite the heat, harsh sun and minimal posing experience, she took direction well, with an upbeat personality. I think that she has great potential as a model. I look forward to working with her again in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend her to others. She brought great enthusiasm and dedication to "getting the shot right." Her previous work had not displayed her wonderful smile, so we set out to capturing that as well as a bit of "hautiness". The sophisticated and aloof look was pure acting as she is nothing but friendly and easy to work with. Her refined cheekbones and dark hair come courtesy of Chippewa ancestry, of which she is rightfully proud. Accommodated by free will and a spirited personality, she graced the lens with an undaunted and seamless ease.  She was very prompt and to the point with charm, rather pleasing to work with if I do say.  I highly recommend Justine for your next project, as our work together here has demonstrated, her ability to capture the moment and display talent is quite nice. She is amazing to work with and has the strongest poses of any model I know. She will be in Los Angeles this summer shooting with some of the biggest names in the industry.      Jun 17 10 12:00 pm Link Re-submitting Sparrow, MM #1498383. I "met" her when she asked about nomination to this competition, and was referred to "The List" photographers in her area. I was planning a trip to LA a few weeks later so I contacted her and offered to shoot with her when I was in town. I'm glad that I did! Sparrow is a genuine delight with a sense for fashion and a very polished, classy presentation. She probably won't qualify as a "newbie" much longer. Teri is only 18-years old, and had done only one shoot before producing the images you see here. Teri hails from McMinnville, Tennessee where she attended Warren County High School. While a student there, she was an active member of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) where she volunteered her time and talents helping the less-fortunate in need of quality health care. In addition to being beautiful, she posed very well, with little direction and was a lot of fun to be around. She is just getting started, but I think she will do well with this. Caroline joined the site mid-way through her senior year in high school late in 2009. She's recently graduated and will be attending the University of Tennessee majoring in media/communications this fall. Though she's only been able to do a few shoots due to her busy schedule with school activities, it became obvious to me that she is truly an extraordinarily beautiful young woman, and a natural in front of the camera. But, please review the eligibility requirements before posting a public nomination in the NEWbie Model of the Week Contest. If you have questions about your nominee's eligibility please send me a PM asking for clarification and I'll present it to our TD volunteer panel. Members who were grandfathered into theLIST, the requirements have only been changed very slightly from the original rules - in fact the only substantive changes have made the requirements a bit more lenient (dropping the time on MM limit).
