Used to be topless was considered daring and bold.

Recently here on MM, I am seeing more bottomless.

Has topless become so common that pushing the limits is now bottomless.

What do you think

History repeating itself ....in cycles....people wanting some variety.

Personally I think the bottom is just equally as  beautiful as the top.

Our creator gave us all parts. Some of us have prettier parts than others. Some of us like certain parts as long as they are pretty, fresh and presented artistically. To me the most beautiful part of the anatomy is the vagina, the place of the beginning of life, but there are lots of other parts i like too...except for hairy little guy butts and whackers presented badly.
Looking at what is presented today as art, I think that the vagina is finally getting the recognition it deserves, as long as it is presented artistically...so I guess the short answer is yes

just sayin'

The only time I've seen pictures of vaginas has been in medical  sites and they are showing diseases, or in fetish shots where they are using the speculum or a large clear dildo of some sort to open the labia and expose the vagina... oh, and pics of women who have stuck overly large things in there and then take them out to show a very overstretched (and no longer attractive) vulva and vagina.

I find none of those attractive in the least.

topless, botomless, I don't find anything 'daring' or 'bold' about them, about eight time out of ten they are just plain tacky. 'daring' and 'boldness' of  imagery should have nothing to do with the amount of skin shown!

I'm a big fan of naked forms, and a lot of people create fantastic images, but I think particularly in America, conservatism is putting everything into an unatural context.

I've been saying exactly that same line for a while now. wink

Honestly, though, nudity isn't exactly "daring" or "bold," certainly not anymore. Which doesn't mean I don't like it. It can be wonderful. When the subject is beautiful, and it's done well, it can be beautiful, and can be sensuous, it can be intimate, it can be sexual, it can be lots of things, but nudity itself is rarely "daring" or "bold." I mean, there's no shortage of people who have gotten naked and posted the results on the internet.

It would be so nice if I could go so much as 24 hours without finding some amateur gynecologist on here who insists on pointing out that the vagina is the internal organs, and not the external. Yes, the term gets misused. We know. Let it die already.

And for the sake of staying on topic...
Every generation has successively abandoned the "moral" values of the previous. To make a parallel observation, look at prime time network television. We routinely hear dialogue that would have been verbotin just 5 years ago. And 5 years ago, we experienced content that would have caused an outrage 5 years prior to that. And so the cycle goes, in all aspects of our public discourse. The "limits" of "tasteful" photography are no exception.

Does this mean that plastic surgeons are going to be doing more bottom augmentations?  Are models who have boney butts soon going to be sitting on silicone? It seems that the piercing people have blazed the trail and moved Southward, some tattoo artists have followed, will we be seeing a whole new realm of artwork South of the Equator?

It is kind of absurd!  Something less means: it is not there...
Yet the bottom and top are, I assume there...those are just places that don't have coverings on them!  That is why there is a question?  A whole weirdo mindset!

I often tell models to take off their bottoms first...and it confuses them for a second because they were expecting me to begin with me telling them to take off their tops. smile

LoL - I remember the ifrst time doing that - the model started laughing hysterically as if I was telling a joke!  She then resumed removing her top!  LoL  I kept looking down and then she realized I was serious.  She then said and I qoute:  "You first!"  Then I cracked up!

What do you think

In about 150 shoots with about 120 models over the last 18 months, there were almost none who were willing to shoot topless and exposed, but not bottomless.  One, in fact.  A few more were willing to do topless implied, but not all that many.

I don't see any trend in that time.  But it depends on how you define "used to be."
