I've seen you've done this with a few models, you've not only told them why a shot sucks, but you've told them what to do to make it better artistically. I'm desperately seeking to broaden my horizons and I would love to be told what I'm doing wrong. (or right? That couldn't hurt either =] )
Thanks.

You have 16 pictures. Do not use folders. You will piss people off.

This is horrible.
Do you think you are well represented?
If you saw this is someone elses port, what would you think?

https://modelmayhm-3.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100124/13/4b5cc13abc03f_m.jpg
You look awkward. It is out of focus, and boring.
The railing is distracting, as is the whiter wall behind your head.

18+ https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/15408852
This looks like a snapshot your bf took. To take your port to the next level delete this kind of crap.

https://modelmayhm-3.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100201/13/4b674c41a56d3_m.jpg
I would not want to work with you if this is the way you emote.

This is overexposed.

Prom pictures, *none* of them, belong in your port. This is amatuer.

This is all senior photos.

https://modelmayhm-6.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/091213/09/4b252935e53b7_m.jpg
This is the only non-senior photo picture, and the lightings off.

I dont know how to tell you how bad this picture is. It makes my ill.
Your face sucks. Open your eyes, and I dont want to see your brain either.
Your arm is dead. Bend it.
Youve completely lost your other arm.
Just bad.

Neck lines should be taken out in photoshop. As should your stray eyebrow hairs. This is not flattering.

If you dont learn to emote youre going to become a same face model. Dooooomed to walk the earth with no emotion.

Practice in the mirror. While youre getting your hair done, or doing it yourself. I dont care. Just do it.

Part of our jobs as models is to do something incredibly painful or awkward and make it look effortless and comfortable. This does not embody that at all.

https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/091122/18/4b09f2396ae1e_m.jpg
Your fingers are cut off in the photo and your face is dark. Some photos need editing.

https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100111/13/4b4b9487c3ee5_m.jpg
Watch your hands. This would be a sexy image if you had some sort of expression and a more relaxed hand.

Work on your hands and face.

Badly lit, harsh shadows, and your face is a completely different color than your neck. I dont understand the green tone.

Horrible pose, face and your arm is cropped. And get better locations. And lighting.

This is pretty aweful. Too much makeup, and its not well done. The lighting is bad, and catches the wrong textures. All together it makes you look like an overweight transvestite.

Mature

First.
Get rid of the pictures in your port where the models skin is grey.
Bad bad bad.

Second.
I dont enjoy a majority of your photos, youre definitely not a GWC, but if youre going to be a studio-family-senior photo type photographer, then you need to learn lighting.

Do so and come back with better photos.

Your skin is insanely orange. I would suggest protecting your skin from tanning beds and the sun.

I would ditch the photos where your limbs are cut off at joints. The first three photos are examples of this.

Your pictures are very very low in quality.

"I have just started out and have done 1 fashion and bridesmaid shoot all on the one day!"

You decided to use the numerical form of "one" and the written form in the same sentence. Using the written form both times will make you look more professional.

Theres not much to crit. You need to study. Hard.

It looks like youre poking yourself in the eye. Probably because the makeup sucks. Lazy eye, loss of hand and fat arms. Keep your arms away from your body...they shouldnt be pressed against you, especially for close shots like this.

We never show our brains to our photographers.
Keep your chin down. You also need to watch your double chin. Its very pronounced in a majority of your photos.

https://modelmayhm-3.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100115/18/4b51213ae5019_m.jpg
Your face should be better lit. And watch your hands. You can clench your fists, but you have to make it look pretty. Its our job as models to make things that other people cant make beautiful or comfortable look effortlessly eye appealing.

If you want a chance in this industry you need to practice

A lot.

I wish you luck.
