 The Renaissance Pleasure Faire will be the host location for this 'Two Day Doubleshoot' (11am-6pm). The RenFaire will be hosting their 'Steampunk Time Traveler' costume contest ONLY on this weekend (April 21st & 22nd), so this will be a 2 day 'doubleshoot' featuring some truly outrageous Steampunk costumewear (Renaissance Era costumes as well), with prize money awarded for best Steampunk costumes. This will be the third year Select Models has hosted a shoot at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire, and if you've never attended a RenFaire, you are in for some wildass party animal funtimes, with tasty food & drinks and amazing shows taking place all day long thru-out the fairgrounds. Attending photographers must purchase a RenFaire admission ticket for their one sponsored model, and will have access to shoot HUNDREDS of other 'Steampunk Time Traveler' contestants and well as THOUSANDS of other Renaissance Pleasure Faire participants. Discount admission tickets ($23 each) can be purchased in advance on the Renaissance Pleasure Faire website at http://www.renfair.com, so purchase advance tickets for you and your model and get an entire day of mega funtimes entertainment for only $46. There is no additional shoot fees or signup costs to attend this event, just purchase your admission tickets in advance (or pay $25 per ticket at the door), and party like a rockstar with a great group of fellow MM members. Website also had specific event details and directions to their Irwindale location (near the 605 and 210 freeways). If you are a photographer or model interested in attending, please post a message on this events forum thread on which day you will be attending (Saturday or Sunday), and we'll start a list of participants for both days. For one lucky model I even have the skirt. All you need is your imagination, a thrift store to get a long skirt and maybe some extras. Com'on now let's create and make this event.
