Latex is not quite as popular now as it was a few years ago, and generally requires having a large, expensive wardrobe of shiny apparel. That is the only thing on that list I have never shot.

I've had quite a few requests for kinbaku shoots (intricate Japanese rope knots)for people's private collections (we shoot them for them and their private albums). Not many people are familiar with the knots so it's a little difficult to find someone adept at both photography and the tying.

It should connect you to fetish photographers. models and like minded people in your area and around the country.

Keep in mind it can often be less to do with what is most popular and selling the best and more about your personal boundaries. If you are not into the theme of a particular fetish it will show in front of the camera. Some fetishes can be quite extreme looking.
I am working on a "Pony Tales" series that only appeals to a small subset of models as it is outside the comfort zone of a lot of models as an example.

It will also effect your branding as a model. You need to consider if you want to be stereotyped that way for a long time. That said fetish shoots are a lot of fun to plan and shoot. A lot of models do it to realize a personal fantasy. I would experiment with the more extreme fetishes in your personal life before trying to do it in front of the camera. The thrill of a fetish is a state of mind as it is considered taboo.

I don't actively do "fetish" work, but I've gotten fetish related comments on my images for these fetishes, that I can think of (not typically here, but work similar to what I put on MM)

In a way they're harder, because you only have that one single shot to convey your message, not a series of actions.

Things like those on Shivas list for example, like balloon popping, kind of require a video, or at least a series of images put together into a big set, but typically (though not always) the people who are into that fetish, and the others like it that would work better on video, want to see the sequence of actions, hear the noises/you, etc because they play into what makes the fetish for them.


And then some things are super easy to capture with stills, like foot fetish and bondage.

There are several basic kinds of bondage. Some people strictly keep to "the code” of those styles and some people develop their own that's a cross between two or more.

Shibari is a certain kind of bondage that has a bit of a distinctly different look and technique than kinbaku, but they're both a very intricate and pretty type of bondage. DiD/western bondage tends to be the very simple, usually with nylon rope smedley whiplash looking work, it conveys the idea of an amateur, sometimes hasty kidnap 'just needed to get them restrained in a hurry' type of feel, rather than the artsier concern that the Japanese styles take on.

Florida does have a large fetish market, and some models there do have more ability to specialize in only one or two niches. Certain parts of the country provide more opportunities for models than others.
