There is no evidence that this disappearance had anything to do with modeling.

Let's keep the comments to Kara and leave the escort debate to the numerous other threads on the topic.

Yes.

In fact, forum mods should probably hide that post as it is off-topic and not helpful.

I apologize I thought it did have something to do with modeling.

If they would supply decent photos of these 'brunettes' someone could Tineye.com or Google image search them and try to ID them.

edit:

Here they are

Repost for importance!
I saw nothing from Google on this one. Or Tineye.

Nothing on this one, either.

If it is a significant crop from a larger image that could throw off the search algorithm.

She was last seen in the presence of two women.  Her disappearance does not seem to be modeling related at all.  Apology accepted.

I hate to see it happen but it finally may have. The one thing that no one on MM wants to believe is real could have actually happened! Maybe models will finally get smart and photogs will stop making them feel like crap for wanting to be safe!

I hope they find her soon and alive I pray for her family. Today is Thanksgiving and I am sure it will be hard to enjoy with all of this going on and the absence of their daughter. =[

And this is why people say the things that they do to you. And you always wonder why. You don't know what is going on. She may just don't want to bothered or maybe someone that she knows may have done something.

No. You just concluded that might be the case.

There was a rumor that she was working as a high priced call girl in Las Vegas, but it was just a "service" that used her pictures illegally.  So no information that helps so far.  hmm  We'll keep this going as it's important!

The police news conference says they are looking for 2 women to question them about the disappearance.

They found one of the two brunette women (the one in the pictures). They questioned her and have released her and are not releasing her name.

They have not found the other woman, whom they do not have a picture of and whom they apparently believe was the last person to see her.

Ok. That makes more sense. I was wondering why the two brunettes looked like the same person.

I'm glad to see every little development in this case getting attention in the national media, even if it is only because she is a beautiful young aspiring model.

I'm not glad to see the modeling community being explicitly or implicitly implicated. But if that's the price of getting the case attention then I'm ok with it, even if I don't agree with it.

Let's hope they find her.

Statistically, these are the two strongest probabilities.

Not likely given that she left her phone and purse and everything else behind.

Yes.

Her parents are now saying in an interview that Kara had been involved with drugs and prostitution. They are also claiming that now that the media knows about those things that they aren't giving her case coverage any more.
